"content": "okay so first of all, i’m sitting here in my messy room with my makeup scattered everywhere because i swear i organized it last week but now it’s just a disaster again 😭 but whatever, let’s do this. i’m wearing my glasses today because my contacts are giving me hell, so my perspective is like, extra up close and personal with my face lol. anyway-
so i started with my skin, obviously. i used this new moisturizer that smells like coconut and it’s so hydrating but also makes my face feel like a grease bomb??? like, is that a good thing? i don’t know. i put on some primer because my makeup always looks like a hot mess by noon, and then i did my foundation. i’m using this drugstore one that’s technically my shade but also kinda orange??? like, i don’t know, maybe i’m just pale??? idk. anyway, i blended it with a damp sponge because i saw someone do that on tiktok and now i’m obsessed.
okay, concealer time. i put it under my eyes and then immediately regretted it because now i look like a raccoon. like, why do i do this to myself??? i tried to blend it out but now it’s just streaky and i’m starting to panic. maybe i need to watch a tutorial??? or maybe i just need to accept that i’m not a makeup artist and move on with my life.
side note: why do my eyelids look like they’re made of paper??? i swear, every time i do my eyeshadow, it just sits there like a sad little pile of glitter. i’m using this shimmery shade that’s supposed to be beautiful but right now it just looks like i smeared my highlighter on my lid. maybe i need to use a better brush??? or maybe i just need to accept that i’m not a makeup artist and move on with my life.
okay, moving on to brows. i’m not great at this but i try. i used this brow gel that’s supposed to make my brows look full
