why can’t i find my holy grail makeup product
okay so i’ve been searching for my holy grail makeup product for like ever and i am DONE. like, seriously, done. i’ve tried every concealer, every foundation, every lipstick under the sun and nothing ever lives up to the hype. i’ll see all these influencers raving about some new product and i’ll be like ‘okay, fine, i’ll give it a shot’ and then it’s either too heavy or too light or it breaks me out or it just straight up doesn’t blend right. and don’t even get me started on highlighters. i swear, every time i put one on, i look like a disco ball that got hit by a truck. like, why can’t i just find one thing that works for me? why is it so hard? i’ve spent so much money on makeup that just sits in my drawer collecting dust because it’s not the one. and then there’s the whole ‘your skin changes with age’ thing, so even if i do find something i love, it’ll probably stop working in like six months. it’s exhausting. i just want one product that doesn’t make me look like a mess or feel like i wasted $30 on a pipe dream. is that too much to ask? pls tell me i’m not the only one suffering through this makeup product roulette??
